Such a good coffee a steak sandwich nearly taller than me and fabulous fish n chips for hubs. Rocky road slice for me afternoon tea was delish, icecream for the driver and the apple slices we took home were scoffed down in no time. Freshly painted , clean and uncluttered! And the staff were really good... we'll definitely be back
About @em's Place
Tucked away at 165 Prince Edward Ave in Culburra Beach NSW, @em's Place feels like the kind of spot you wander into once and quickly add to your mental list of go-to locations. It’s relaxed, friendly, and full of those small touches that make a diner feel welcoming from the moment you step through the wheelchair-accessible entrance. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, settling in for a casual meal, or just stopping by for something quick, the atmosphere makes it easy to linger.
As soon as you look over the menu, you can tell why locals mention this place in their reviews. The food hits that sweet spot between simple comfort and genuinely satisfying flavor. The Sausage Rolls, for example, are hard to ignore-warm, flaky, and surprisingly filling without being heavy. Pair one with a Decaf Coffee FW and you’ve got a combo that feels especially perfect for a slow morning.
If you’re craving something a bit heartier, the Plain Burger stands out in the best way. It’s straightforward but done right, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want. The Breakie Burger also deserves a shout-out, especially for those days when breakfast and lunch blend together. It’s the kind of small plate you enjoy without overthinking, yet it still feels crafted with care.
While the food is front and center, the overall dining experience plays a big role too. The seating is comfortable enough for a relaxed dine-in meal, whether you’re catching up with friends or taking a quiet moment to yourself. And if you’ve got a sweet tooth-or simply need something to top off your visit-the Sausage Roll & Brownie pairing is a satisfying way to wrap things up.
What makes @em's Place enjoyable is how naturally everything fits together. The menu feels familiar but thoughtful, the service is warm without trying too hard, and the space itself invites you to slow down for a moment. It’s the kind of restaurant you’re happy to recommend, especially if you appreciate good food served with a friendly, beach-town vibe.
